T-Series becomes the First YouTube Channel to hit 100 Million Subscribers

T-Series has become the first YouTube channel to hit 100 Million Subscribers

After months of racing to the top, T-Series becomes the first YouTube channel to reach over 100 million subscribers.

YouTube congratulated T-Series by telling the Bollywood channel to make room for a new trophy on its shelf. T-Series also thanked its fans for helping the company reach the milestone.

The race to the top has been going on for months between T-Series and Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg. Both channels grew millions of subscribers throughout the process and this also gave global recognition to T-Series.

T-Series was forecast to complete its 100 million subscriber base target by May 21, while competitor PewDiePie was expected to meet the target by June 2. Though a few days delay led to T-Series winning the title. The T-Series ‘ achievement is unsurprising as the YouTube channel has several times ascended its competitor. PewDiePie was threatened with a rapid increase in the number of subscribers for T-Series.

However, last month, PewDiePie ended the battle and asked its fans to stop antagonizing the opposing channel. YouTube creator’s message came just a month after the Churchill, New Zealand shooting incident that killed 51 people.

Nevertheless, some PewDiePie fans immediately started attacking YouTube’s tweet, claiming the company would never do the same for him. Kjellberg still has to comment on this record-breaking moment.

Bhushan Kumar has led the music company to reach the top by crossing 100 million subscribers and becoming the world’s biggest YouTube channel.

Kumar was the first to make a move to lock a digital deal with Hungama who, in turn, served telecoms content and are the first to introduce and cater for music promotions largely in digital space so that music is not limited to YouTube, but music lovers can rely on both digital and mobile platforms.

‘ Bharat, ‘ ‘ De De Pyaar De, ‘ ‘ Saaho, ‘ ‘ Street Dancer, ‘ ‘ Kabir Singh, ‘ ‘ Tanhaji: Unsung Warrior, ‘ ‘ Batla House, ‘ ‘ Marjaavaan, ‘ among others, T-Series worked with some of the industry’s biggest names to deliver new, interesting and diverse musical content.
