Based on a truly catastrophic event, Chernobyl hit the screens in May 2019. The series is unfolding the shrouded events of the explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant of USSR in April 1986

Along with narrating horrible truths the series is also a tribute to those brave men and women, who sacrificed their lives to mitigate the magnitude of damage. The nuclear explosion at Chernobyl was supposed to bring sever devastations to Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Scandinavia. The show’s production team reviled that the misery and pain covered in the show are quite low compared to the actual sufferings of the victims. Red tape, corruption, and failure of Bureaucracy caused one of the world’s worst man-made catastrophes.

Ratings for Chernobyl climbed above GOT and Breaking Bad within days.  Chernobyl received 80800+votes and 9.7 ratings on IMDB as of May 30, 2019.
