The hit comedy show “The Big Bang Theory” will officially wrap its run tonight. After airing 279 episodes, it has become the longest-running multi-camera comedy show in the history of Television.
The show premiered on CBS back in 2007 and is concluding today after 12 seasons. Starring Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Nayyar the comedy show peaked at 20.36 million viewers on season nine.
Jim Parsons, known for playing the role of “Sheldon Cooper” has bagged 21 awards out of 63 nominations for the show and his character became a household name in very less time.
In the last episode, Penny played by “Kaley Cuoco” gets pregnant with Leonard and the elevator that has been shown to be broken throughout the series finally gets fixed.
