Karachi Police on Wednesday gave a traffic plan for matches booked to be played at the National Stadium in front of the Karachiites where Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 is going to kick-off on Thursday 20 Feb.
Those making a beeline for the National Stadium can leave their vehicles at assigned parking spaces subsequent to demonstrating their tickets and CNIC.
Guests will be given stopping offices in the advised stopping locales, including Urdu University Ground, Gharib Nawaz Football Stadium close to Millennium Mall, Expo Center and Rana Liaquat Girls College inverse Aga Khan Hospital Stadium Road.
Parking Areas
Those originating from focal and west areas, for example, Liaquatabad No 10 can utilize Hassan Square, take a left at University Road and park their vehicles at Expo Center. From that point, observers will be taken to the arena by means of stadium transport.
Those driving from Malir and East areas can utilize Safoora and NIPA while those going from Sohrab Goth by means of Gulshan Chowrangi can utilize Gulshan Chowrangi, take a left at University Road, AG Sindh U-Turn, on the other hand, University Road and park their vehicles. From that point, they will be moved to the zone neighboring Expo Center by means of stadium transport.
Those going from East and Malir regions originating from Drigh Road by means of Shahrah-e-Faisal can utilize Drigh Road, take a right turn at Rashid Minhas Road, left go to Millennium Mall and park their vehicles at the Gharib Nawaz Football Stadium close to Millennium Mall. From that point, they will be moved to Bahria University neighboring the National Stadium by means of transport.
Those driving from South, City, West and Korangi/Defense locale and zones by means of Shahrah-e-Faisal can utilize Sharah-e-Faisal, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Allah Wali Chowrangi, Society Light Signal, PP Chowrangi, University Road, Hassan Square, Baitul Mukaram U-turn, Expo Center Gate 1 and afterward leave their vehicles at Rana Liaquat Ali Khan Girls College from where they will go out from the Expo Center Gate No 2 of the arena or Shahrah-e-Faisal, Drigh Road, Rashid Minhas, NIPA, University Road to Expo Center’s Gate No.1.
Those going from Central and West areas originating from Nazimabad and Liaquatabad No10 can utilize Hassan Square, take a left towards University Road, Baitul Mukaram U-turn, Expo Center Gate 1 and park their vehicles at the Expo Center, KDA Club and China Ground from where they will go out from Expo Center’s Gate No 2 for the arena.
Diversions
Karsaz: All sorts of traffic originating from Nursery will not be allowed to continue to Habib Ibrahim Rehmat Ullah Road towards Stadium (Sir Shah Suleman Road). These vehicles will be occupied towards Drigh Road, Sharea Faisal, left turn Rashid Minhas Road, Millennium to NIPA.
Thousand years: All sorts of traffic originating from Rashid Minhas Road will not be allowed to continue towards the arena.
These vehicles will be occupied towards NIPA, Askari-IV (Millennium), Drigh Road to Shahrah-e-Faisal or Millennium, NIPA to Safoora Chowrangi or NIPA to Gulshan Chowrangi to Sohrab Goth.
New Town Chowrangi: From University Road, a wide range of traffic will not be allowed to continue to Stadium Road from New Town Chowrangi turning. Traffic will be occupied towards Jail, Shaheed-e-Millat or straight towards PP Chowrangi. Open originating from Aga Khan Hospital and Liaquat National Hospital will be permitted from the New Town PS side.
College Road, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, and Rashid Minhas Road will stay open for traffic. All suburbanites from Central, East, Malir, South, and West can utilize the Lyari Expressway’s two sides from Mirza Adam Khan Chowk, Mauripur Road up to Sohrab Goth.
Heavy traffic
Substantial traffic won’t be permitted from Sohrab Goth to Nipa, Liquatabad No 10 to Hassan Square, Peoples Chowrangi towards University street.
Traffic originating from Shahar-e-Faisal will not be allowed to continue towards Stadium.
These vehicles will be occupied towards NIPA, Askari-IV (Millennium), Drigh Road to Shara-e-Faisal or Millennium, NIPA to Safora Chowrangi or NIPA to Gulshan Chowrangi to Sohrab Goth.
Vehicles entering from University Road will not be allowed to continue towards Stadium Road from New Town Chowrangi turning and it will be occupied towards Jail Road, Shaheed-e-Millat or directly to Peoples Chowrangi.
Traffic coming to Aga Khan Hospital, Liaquat National Hospital will be permitted from New Town PS.
