The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker revealed that she will officially drop the song titled “Press” this Friday (May 31), which she first teased back in December. The original snippet where she raps “Press, Press, Press, Press, Press, Press / Cardi need no more press,” has collected over 100 million views since it was posted.
“PRESS SINGLE AND OFFICIAL ARTWORK DROPS THIS WEEK ON 5/31!!!” she wrote Monday evening (May 27) on Instagram.

Recently, a fan left her a comment, wanting to know where “Press” disappeared off to. “What happened to u dropping ‘press press press press press cardi do need more press,'” the user wrote. The rapper replied, “It shall drop soon 😈” It looks like “soon” is just a few days away because “Press,” along with its official artwork, will hit the streets on Friday, May 31.
Born and raised in The Bronx, New York City, Cardi B is the only female rapper to have three #1 hits on Billboard Hot 100 chart. Press will be her second single as a lead artist this year.
