The finale of American Idol Season 17 will hit your screens on upcoming Sunday and we are so here for it. Judged by Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Ritchie, the show premiered in March 2019 on ABC. Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the show announced its top three finalists on 12th May.
Alejandro Aranda, Laine Hardy, and Madison Vandenburg will be competing against each other for the Idol’s title this Sunday.
The finale will be a 3-hour long show and huge stars will be seen performing their hits. Adam Lambert will perform his new song, “New Eyes” and will also sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” with the top ten contestants, Dimitrius Graham.
Carrie Underwood, the ex-Idol winner will be back to perform her new single “Southbound.” Judge Katy Perry will be seen performing “Con Calma” alongside Daddy Yankee and later will perform her hit “Unconditionally” with contestant Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon.
Other performers include Dan + Shay, Jon Pardi, Kane Brown, Kool & The Gang, Luke Bryan, Lionel Ritchie, Montell Jordan, Shayy and Weezer. They will also perform with the other contestants.
Finally, after all the performances, the winner of American Idol Season 17 will be announced.
