The promising benefits of Al are clearly undeniable but its impact on the food business in 2019 has left the industry in a debatable position.
As the world is shifting its curve of modern technology to Artificial Intelligence and Robotics learning, it is truly a blessing to breathe in this era and see it rising everywhere around the world including hospitals, homes, and other places. However, the world has yet to see its true colors and whether if it’s actually a blessing or a curse in the shape of modern technology.
Though the food ventures are hoping to depend upon artificial intelligence combined with human intelligence to form an unbreakable bond together, there is still a chance of Al slipping through the human control and leaving some doubts of human well-being if it fails to evolve peacefully.
The three categories of Al which consist of weak Al, strong Al, and Superintelligence which is beyond human intelligence could also be the greatest threat to human existence. The Al enabled technology could actually be an effective decision for the food industry to promote their food businesses around the world.
The new Al food chain can fully automate the process through the use of drones or even ensure compliance of food safety regulations through Al cameras. The most valuable contribution of the Al enabled technology might be in food safety and quality assurance.
Artificial Intelligence is already becoming a part of the present much sooner than it was anticipated. The key role still remains the management and such initiatives that play a vital role in improving the quality systems at their best.
It would be too early and too dangerous to consider Artificial intelligence as the ‘future of the world’ and for the food industry to solely rely on Al technology to lead all its main operations and food chains.
