Heart-wrenching news struck the morning when on a ceremonial day of Easter Sunday 7 bomb blast shook the Sri Lankan ground. The death toll reached 207 with more than 450 people injured. Confirmed by the respective foreign ministers, among the dead are Three UK nationals and two US-UK dual nationals One Dutch, one Chinese, one Portuguese and two Turkish nationals.

The government imposed curfew and shut down all social media immediately. No party has yet claimed the responsibility but the defense minister, Ruwan Wijewardene, said that the culprits are identified as religious extremists.
