Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said Pakistan will respond stronger than that of 27 Feb 2019 in case of any misadventure from India.
In a tweet responding over allegations of the Indian Army’s Corps Commander Lt General K J S Dhillon, Asif Ghafoor regarded his comments, as “usual blatant lies”.
He tweeted, “An attempt to carve out causes Belli for a misadventure to divert world attention from precarious situation & atrocities in IOJ&K. While IOJ&K faces media blackout, AJ&K is open to foreign media & UNMOGIP to visit place of their own choosing. Can you do same?”
“Should there be an attempt by Indian Army to undertake any misadventure, Pakistan’s response shall be even stronger than that of 27 Feb 2019. Thousands of Indian troops have failed to suppress just struggle of brave Kashmiris for decades. Current surge won’t succeed either.,” he further stated.

The tensions between India and Pakistan escalated, after the BJP-led Indian government’s announcement that it is abolishing Article 370 of the Indian constitution which sustains a status of autonomy to the region, giving it the right to form its own laws, raise its own flag, and also prevented Indian citizens from buying property in Kashmir and holding positions within its administration.
Right now, Several million Kashmiris are currently cut off from communicating with the outside world as India has started strengthening its ferocious military clutches on the occupied state. India has ceased down the network facilities, including internet and landlines, banned protests and group gatherings, imposed curfews and deployed tens of thousands of troops into the region to escalate its existing military power of around 700,000 soldiers in the occupied valley of Kashmir.
