A brand new trailer arrived for the upcoming sequel to the hit movie “Zombieland” on Thursday. It features some surprising new additions along with the original returning cast members.
The new Zombieland 2: Double Tap trailer debuted with plenty of hype around it via social media on July 25. The original film featured a cast full of winning and award-nominated performers. This included Woody Harrelson, the main star, together with Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and Abigail Breslin.
They are all back for the sequel, which is excellent news for the fans. They have grown up even more in their life, though.
Especially, the new plot may seem to concentrate on the character of Breslin growing up and wanting to get away from the remainder. That seems to be causing some dangerous circumstances. The mix also includes new characters, which could create some interesting dynamics. The group is taking the fight to zombies once again to the tune of by Ice Cube’s Click Clack – Get Back!
In 2009, the original Zombieland came out and focused on the survivors of a post-apocalyptic world that included zombies. Eisenberg’s Columbus ended up meeting three strangers on his journey and they bonded as best they could as they fought off the threats. The film got critics and audiences rave reviews with a critical consensus of 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.
The original group moves into the countryside in the new movie. Among them, there will be increasing pain and more advanced zombies to fight. As stated, Tallahassee from Harrelson, Columbus from Eisenberg, Wichita from Stone, and Little Rock from Breslin all come back from the previous film. The trailer also displayed several of the new cast members from Zombieland 2.
Actress Zoey Deutch will be playing Madison and Berkeley will be played by Avan Jogia. In the trailer too, fans of Marvel’s Netflix universe may have acknowledged actress Rosario Dawson. She’s going to play a character named Nevada. Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley) and Luke Wilson are also credited with roles.
Just a few weeks after the horror sequel IT: Chapter 2, the Zombieland 2: Double Tap release date comes in cinemas. This provides horror fans some fascinating new genre entries to check out, though it’s more humor and less horror based on the past Zombieland.
