Billboard has posted its update of the top 100 songs for the week ending 18th May. The Hot 100 chart is based upon the amalgamation of digital sales, streaming, and airplay.
‘Old Town Road’ by Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus spends its sixth week at #1. Whilst Shawn Mendes debuted at number two and scored his first #2 hit with his new song ‘If I Can’t Have You’. Before this, Shawn’s peak was at #4 with the song ‘Stitches’ and his other hit ‘Treat You Better’ peaked at #6.
Me! By Taylor Swift ft Brendon Urie fell down to #3 (#2 last week). While Sucker by Jonas Brother continued to remain at #4 (Peak #1) spending its 10th week on the chart. It is also the first #1 single by Jonas Brothers
‘Homicide’ by Logic featuring Eminem debuted at #5 and gave Eminem his 13th top five hits. Post Malone conquers the #6 and #7 spot with his songs ‘Wow’ and ‘Sunflowers’, the latter one featuring Swae Lee.
‘Without Me’ by Halsey comes at #8 and enjoys its 31st week on the Hot 100 chart.
‘Bad Guy’ by Billie Eilish is at #9 this week and also happens to be the biggest gainer in streams this week.
Ariana Grande wraps the top ten with her song ‘7 rings’ spending its 16th week on the chart (peak #1).
