Hasan Ali, Pakistan’s leading speedster, recently tied the knot on Tuesday with Shamiya Arzoo. Shamia is an Indian girl from Dubai who works as an engineer.

She has a B.Tech degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Chandeni Village of Nuh district in Haryana and works as a flight engineer at the Emirates Airlines. Hasan Ali is now the fourth Pakistan cricketer to marry an Indian girl after Zaheer Abbas, Mohsin Khan & Shoaib Malik.

The ceremony was held at Atlantis, The Palm, in Dubai. Only a few people became part of the holy matrimony, attended by only one cricketer, Shadab Khan. Hasan Ali wanted both Indian and Pakistan cricketers to attend the wedding, according to sources. The latter, however, are busy attending a camp under Misbah-ul-Haq’s leadership, while the former are taking on the West Indies in their own backyard.

For a long time, the news of their affair was making headlines in the cricketing fraternity. The 25-year-old made an official announcement about this matter to the media a few weeks ago. He said, “Our families wanted to keep this a low key affair but since the matter has come out in the media I have decided to make an official announcement to ensure they are no speculations surrounding my marriage,

Apparently, the couple first met in a restaurant. It was also disclosed that it was Ali who sent the proposal first. What followed the Nuptial was a series of glamorous and beautiful pictures of the event. The hotel was decorated with white flowers and in its potent simplicity it looked extremely pre-possessing. The wedding took place at around 7 p.m. and the reception ceremony is likely to take place in Pakistan.

Both the bride and the groom put on their traditional costumes. While Arzoo went for an Indian look, Ali chose traditional Pakistani clothes and looked gorgeous in his black-gray Sherwani. The pictures and videos of this high-octane event went viral as soon as they were released.

Ali had even invited cricketers from India for his wedding ceremony. He had said that he would happy.
