Popular singing reality show Indian Idol’s producers are preparing for the upcoming eleventh season. The auditions have started already. Since past few months possible names for Indian Idol 11 judges were being predicted by different media channels. It was earlier alleged that Neeti Mohan could enter as a judge. But Neha Kakkar has been retained to judge the show according to the recent reports.
Neha Kakkar went on to social media and disclosed that she will be returning as a judge just because of the enormous love of her fans. Sharing a few pictures from the previous season, Neha wrote, “Swagat Kijiye Aapki #IndianIdol11 Ki #JudgeSahiba ka ☺️♥️🙏🏼 I’m back Only bcz of Your Immense Love 🙌🏼 #NehaKakkar @sonytvofficial . Pics from #IndianIdol10. Clicked by @prabhatrajput 👌🏼. #IndianIdol.”
Rumors has it that Vishal Dadlani will also be retained as the show’s judge. Also, singer Aditya Narayan (son of the veteran singer Udit Narayan) replaced Maniesh Paul, who hosted the previous season.
The young singer went to social media and wrote, “Happy to share that I’m going to host Indian Idol 11. Wish me luck #IndianIdol @sonytvofficial”
Maniesh is currently hosting the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9 on Star Plus. On the other side, some shows such as Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, X Factor India and Rising Star 3 have been hosted by Aditya Narayan in the past.
It should be remembered that in Season 10 Anu Malik had stepped down as a judge mid-way because several women, including Shweta Pandit and Sona Mohapatra, accused him of sexual misconduct. Sona had reminded Sony TV and Indian Idol makers of the sexual harassment instances of the music composer when it was said that the makers were planning to take Anu Malik back on the show.
Although there is no confirmation regarding the re-entry of Anu Malik, many people have resonated with the rage of Sona and agreed with her tweets. With such anger, we’re wondering if the makers can take him back to the show or will he be replaced by any other musician. Stay tuned for further announcements.
