The first teaser trailer of the highly grossing “Terminator” franchise, “Terminator: Dark Fate” is out now. The first trailer for the upcoming movie got released on Thursday.
This is the sixth film in the Terminator series that started with The Terminator directed by James Cameron in 1984. As a sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Dark Fate ignored all four subsequent films, including the latest one, Terminator: Genesis, released in 2015.
Terminator’s first trailer: Dark Fate brings together the Schwarzenegger T-800 robot with Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor. The film will introduce new characters, including Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire) as a new terminator-human hybrid. Other actors, such as Gabriel Luna (S.H.I.E.L.D. agents), will play the new homicidal robot of Dark Fate.
This is James Cameron’s return to the “Terminator” franchise; since “Judgment Day,” which was released back in 1991, he has not been involved in the movies other than being credited as the characters ‘ creator.
Cameron has written the story, along with David S. Goyer, who was a writer on all the “Batman” movies by Christopher Nolan as well as the underrated “Dark City” and Justin Rhodes.
Terminator: Dark Fate is scheduled to be released in the UK on 23rd October, Australia on 31st October and the US on 1st November 2019.
