Quetta - Pakistan Blast took three precious lives

Quetta’s Pashtunabad area observed a disastrous blast on Friday. The aim was to hit Friday prayers in Rahmania Mosque. Three including the Imam (prayer leader) lost their lives, while at least 28 injuries were reported. The martyred were identified as prayer leader Hafiz Ataur Rehman, Shahbaz and Sultan. More than 100 people were present in the mosque to offer prayers.

The injured were immediately taken to Civil Hospital Quetta, which is just 15 to 20 minutes away from the mosque. Local people along with Police and LEA responded promptly to shift to bodies and wounded.

Up to three kgs of explosives was used in the sinful attack, according to the SSP Operations Bahram Mandokhail.
President Arif Alvi and PM Imran Khan strongly condemned the blast and expressed their grief over the unfortunate incident. No claim of responsibility has been announced as yet. However, the Counter Terror Department (CTD) has registered a case on the said event against unknown persons today.
