We all know what Snapchat is for, however, recently the company has decided to launch a new gaming platform possibly in the coming month as per the report from Cheddar.
The company has previously launched a set of AR lens games last year with the name ‘Snappables,’ but the new platform is expected to raise the bar of the application by enabling the designers to create their own games within the Snapchat app.
Snap is apparently planning to launch the gaming platform for the world at the Snap Partner Summit in Los Angeles on April 4th. With this, the company wants to explore more opportunities in the gaming world as Tencent, the creator of WeChat and League of Legends has already bought a 12 percent stake in Snap last year.
Let’s be hopeful about it as the company is still in the process of finalizing the whole thing and still hasn’t announced any proper dates yet.
