Indian Armed forces further clutched the clampdown in occupied Kashmir following its independence day, a black day is being observed today, across Pakistan and on both sides of the Line of Control to protest against the brutalities and human rights abuses in Indian occupied State of Jammu and Kashmir.
The decision to mark India’s independence day as black day was made during the National Security Committee Convention, chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan, last week after India’s BJP-driven government’s decision to overrule a 7 decades-old rule that gave the power of autonomy to the occupied and disputed Muslim-majority region of Kashmir.

Anti-India rallies including protest demonstrations in all towns and cities of Kashmir on both sides of the Line of Control will be observed throughout the day, an Azad Kashmir Government’s spokesman told media on Wednesday.
CM Punjab Usman Buzdar requested the people to emerge out as large gatherings to participate in a rally being organized in Lahore to send message to the world that the people of Pakistan and Kashmir are inseparable.
On instructions from Prime Minister Imran Khan, the ruling party of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) organized a rally at D-Chowk Islamabad on Wednesday to express solidarity with the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Pakistan got a major diplomatic breakthrough at international level against India as the UN Security Council (UNSC) has positively responded to the country’s request to discuss India’s move to abolish the special status autonomy of Indian occupied Kashmir, on Friday.
