ISLAMABAD: Following India’s interruption into Pakistani airspace early Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan mockingly remarked that the ‘assault’ had left his Billion Tree Tsunami venture destroyed.
He made the easygoing comments in a trade with leaders of the armed forces after the National Security Committee meeting.
The trade was shared casually by DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor after press instructions.
Could’ve shot down Indian airship yet practiced restriction: AGP
A few trees were devastated as a bomb fell over the Balakot region after Indian Air Force disregarded Pakistani airspace close to the Line of Control.
Indian planes were pursued away by Pakistan Air Force planes which were quickly mixed to foil any forceful move by the nation’s eastern neighbor.
Indian Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said its warplanes attacked a camp in Balakot, and an “extremely expansive number” of activists from the Jaish-e-Mohammad amass were killed in the evening assault.
In any case, both the Pakistan Army and the administration rubbished Indian cases of the assault on Pakistani soil.
