Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed Shabbar Zaidi as the new chairman for the Federal Board of Revenue. The decision was announced in a media briefing at the federal capital.
Mr. Shabbar Zaidi is a former caretaker Provincial Minister of Sindh. By profession, he is a Chartered Accountant and a senior partner in A. F. Ferguson & Co, a member of PwC. He is mainly known for his extensive contribution towards the development of taxation and fiscal laws of the country. Apart from the profession, he is also a trustee of Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplant (SIUT) and Board Member of Liaquat National Hospital (LNH)
