Karachi’s weather shows some mercy

With the expected rainfall/thunderstorm this week, the weather of the metropolitan city changed considerably as the temperature dropped a couple of degrees.

Partly cloudy, with significantly less heat, Karachiites enjoyed lovely weather today with an anticipation of upcoming rain as forecasted by the Met office Karachi.

The temperature recorded throughout the day was not more than 36 degree Celsius, with above 60% humidity and a wind speed of 12 to 18 km/h from the southwest.

Weather this week is likely to be partly cloudy and rain is expected by the end of the week. However, things might change due to to the developing cyclone in the Arabian Sea.

As per the Met department, a low-pressure area in the East Arabian Sea has intensified into a depression at a distance of about 1,500 km south of Karachi. The situation may increase or decrease the temperature in the city depending upon the sea breeze.

The next 36 hours are crucial due to the recent development, and fishermen are advised to stay cautious and avoid deep sea ventures.
