No Naswar allowed in flights – says CAA

The Civil Aviation Authority has banned the use of “Naswar – (tobacco snuff)” in all domestic and international flights. The authority has intimated all the airports via the latest notification regarding the said decision and strict action is likely to be taken against the passengers for carrying naswar.

The decision was taken as naswar was included in the list of narcotics by all the Arab countries. To communicate the decision and to warn the user of the naswar about the adverse actions against the use of it, banners are placed at all airports.

Many Pashtuns are already under arrest in the Middle East for carrying it. According to the notification, carrying naswar while boarding for Hajj, would be considered as a crime and stringent action would be taken by the authority.
