3 easy ways to boost your immune system

Just about anyone could catch the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), which spreads like a wildfire around the world, but it affects especially those who have compromised immune systems.

Prevention is important for citizens. Even the generally healthy individuals might consider doing a few things to improve their immune system to provide extra protection against this virus. While there is no guarantee that taking such measures will help, it is very unlikely that they will harm.

Healthy Sleep:

Having a decent night’s sleep will help you keep your immune system working. The reason: Sleep lets the T cells bind to pathogens and destroy them. The T cells are less “sticky” with less sleep and are not as effective in fighting off viruses.

A “healthy” sleep night varies from person to person but there are general standards for 7 to 9 hours of solid sleep every night. If you’re having restless sleep, wake up or snore at night, you might want to consult a doctor.

Healthy Food:

Remove sweets and soda and choose a well-balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits and vegetables that can improve your immune function.

According to studies, Vitamin C, B6, and E are the three most essential vitamins to your immune system.

Because your body absorbs the nutrients more quickly than with refined foods, it is better to get those benefits from whole food.

Regular Exercise:

Various studies have shown that a good immune system goes hand in hand with being healthy. This does not mean going out and running a marathon – in fact, exercising too much and too energetically will potentially hamper your immune system for a couple of days while your body recovers. To the immune system, fair exercise can be fantastic.

How many of those do you regularly practice to keep your immune system strong? Let us know in the comments below.
