Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare trailer OUT!

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare trailer OUT!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with cross-play capabilities is scheduled to hit Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on October 25th. Moreover, for post-launch maps, gear, and events, it won’t have the traditional, paid Season Pass of the series. Instead, developer Infinity Ward plans to ship more free content than they have with past Call of Duty installments.

Unlike BO4, the new Modern Warfare will actually have a single-player campaign, and it is the main focus for the reveal today. It’s not a direct sequel to the 2011 Modern Warfare 3, as you might guess from the name, but rather a soft reboot that kicks off a new storyline with a few familiar characters coming back. The campaign will be divided into two halves: one as a Tier 1 operator, a special force soldier, and the other as a rebel fighter in the Middle East.

Modern Warfare studio Infinity Ward is making this year’s game, and no one expected a direct sequel to either of its previous entries, Ghosts (launched in 2013 and best remembered for their playable dog squad member Colin) and Infinite Warfare (2016).
