By becoming the first Hindu to join the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as a general duty pilot (GDP), Rahul Dev, from Tharparkar, has made history. Not only did he make a name for himself and his culture, but he also set a precedent for other minorities too.
People from Hindu, Christian, and Sikh groups are still part of various military forces in Pakistan, but this is the first instance that a Hindu was inducted into the Air Force as a GDP, emphasizing the nation as secular and not as a racist state.

The Twitterati are sending out their love for the officer, saying that if the government continues to help minority communities, people like Rahul will continue to make the country proud.
It is worth noting that securing a GDP job is one of the country’s toughest tasks.
