On Wednesday night, NAB raided the house of former KMC park managing director Liaquat Qaimkhani’s second wife at PECHS in Karachi. The bureau recovered some important documents from the house.
Qaimkhani was also present during this raid, as was a female constable.
According to bureau sources, NAB has begun investigating people connected with Qaimkhani.
NAB discovered a treasure trove of 243 precious items when it raided Qaimkhani’s main house in Karachi. Eight luxury vehicles, including Mercedes and Audi A4, a Range Rover jeep, Toyota’s Surf, Land Cruiser, and Fortuner SUVs, were confiscated by authorities. They found 20 files of various plots in Mehran Town in Karachi.
Gold and various kinds of weapons were among the other valuables discovered. Qaimkhani was detained in an illegal allocation case on September 18.
He is being investigated for illegally allocating land from Bagh Ibne Qasim in Clifton to build the Bahria Icon Tower.
