Pakistan Army warns BJP-driven Indian Military against false accusations

Pakistan Army spokesperson, Maj Gen. Asif Ghafoor on Tuesday warned India against any misadventure which it said would provoke a dire response from Pakistan regardless of consequences.

“Irresponsible statements by Indian military commanders particularly about AJ&K are expression of their frustration due to their failure to handle situation in IOJ&K,” the Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor, said on Twitter.

He regards such statements as attempts to divert world’s attention from India’s violation of human rights in the occupied state of Kashmir.

“Accusations of infiltration/presence of alleged terrorists camps are pretext for a false flag operation/misadventure which if tried shall have serious consequences for regional peace.Pak Armed Forces are fully prepared to respond to any aggression/misadventure regardless of cost,” he further stated.

Earlier, the Foreign Office strongly denied the claim made by Indian Army Chief on Monday, blaming Pakistan for “reactivation of terror camp” in Balakot.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal denied the claim made by the Indian Army Chief Bipin Rawat and said BJP-led Indian government would not succeed in hiding terrorism in occupied Kashmir by casting allegations against Pakistan.

“The Indian allegations of “infiltration” from Pakistan reflect a desperate attempt to divert international attention from the humanitarian nightmare in occupied Kashmir being perpetrated by Indian occupation forces,” Dr. Faisal said.

The tensions between Islamabad and New Delhi escalated after India’s unilateral move by the BJP-driven government to overrule a 7 decades-old rule that gave the power of autonomy to the occupied and disputed Muslim-majority region of Kashmir, followed by massive deployments of troops in an occupied valley and prolonged curfew.
