A recent visit of Paul’s brother Cody to the set of the upcoming movie made fans wondering if Brian O’Connor could make his return to the franchise next year.
Vin Diesel made it obvious that he and his Fast & Furious 9 character, Dom Toretto have something in common over the years, It is that they don’t have friends but they have a family.
The death of Paul Walker at the age of 40, after the car he was in crashed, led his two brothers, Caleb, and Cody to step in to finish the filming of Furious 7.
Paul’s car was at a speed of more than 100mph and burst into flames. He was then found dead along with his friend and financial adviser Roger Rodas on 30 November in a burnt-out Porsche Carrera GT in Los Angeles.
VFX artists, with the help of his two brothers, created 350 shots to keep him on the screen, using CGI technology.
A recent visit of Paul’s brother Cody to the set of the upcoming movie made fans wondering if Brian O’Connor could make his return to the franchise next year.
Vin Diesel uploaded a photo of him and the late co-star’s brother on his Instagram and the rumor are now roaming about Paul’s return to the next Fast and Furious movie. The caption that accompanied the photo was, “There is something special that happens every time Cody comes to visit production…. Always making Pablo proud! All love, always. #Fast92020 #Fatherhood #FastFamily.”
It only shows that it was just a visit so far and not for the filming of any scene. However, the Fast & Furious franchise hasn’t been one to shy away from surprises though. So at least a brief glimpse of Brian would be expected in next movie.
Another familiar face is returning. Jordana Brewster will be playing Mia, Paul’s wife and mother of his son.
Even if all we see is another shot of them riding off into the sunset one more time together, it’d be awesome.
A few more famous faces are being induced to the fast and furious show in the form of John Cena and Michael Rooker in two as yet unknown roles.
