Lots of media attention, investors from across the globe, funding in millions and access to future conferences, all of it awaits for startups at tech crunch’s startup battlefield. Equity free prize money of $100,000 and $50,000 is reserved for Disrupt San Francisco and Disrupt Berlin 2019. The application deadline is June 25th at 11:59 p.m. (PT). Startup Battlefield will be taking place at Disrupt San Francisco 2019 on October 2-4. The application submission and entire participation are free of cost and acceptable from any country or industry.

Since Tech crunch will be receiving thousands of applications from different countries, no interviews will be conducted from the startups’ founders. Only one introductory video is demanded that need to be unconventional. The video should not be an animated jingle for the marketing of the startup but instead a walkthrough for users, explaining the functionality of your product. Industries apart from IT are highly encouraged to participate.  Following are the categories in focus

Once in San Francisco, startups will be getting excessive mentoring before hitting the stage. On the stage, each startup will get six minutes to present and explain the product (having a prototype is mandatory). And for six minutes, contestants will be facing the judge’s questions.

Startups applying from abroad can request Tech Crunch for help in Visa application. Though startups are completely responsible for traveling, Tech Crunch can provide the verification letter to assist startups in their Visa applications.
