The upcoming cyclone titled as Vayu by India is expected to raise the temperature further in Karachi, as the change in direction of the cyclone has suspended the wind.
The city experienced extreme hot conditions today, due to suspension of the wind, the temperature hit 37.7 degree Celsius but the real feel was much more than that because of too extreme humidity lesser winds.
The cyclone is less likely to cause any rain in Karachi, rather it will cause a heat wave starting from Thursday, with a temperature rising above 40 degree Celsius. The Met Office has issued a heatwave alert and people are advised to follow due precautionary measures.
The wave is expected to last till Saturday. While the cyclone is heading towards Gujrat, Met Office has again warned fisherman to avoid sailing in deep water between Wednesday and Thursday to avoid the rough sea.
