Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has won his second term in office with a massive victory on Thursday. Bollywood stars and other industry figures went on social media to congratulate him on his re-election.
Modi’s National Democratic Alliance coalition, headed by the Bharatiya Janta Party, won 353 seats in India’s lower parliament house out of a total of 542 seats, beating its 336-seat 2014 tally.
The Indian film industry, including veterans like Asha Bhosle and Rajinikanth, congratulated Indian PM Narendra Modi as the coalition led by the BJP registered a landslide victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

Actor Varun Dhawan congratulated the prime minister and said that under his guidance the country looks forward to the future.

Also, Indian PM Modi’s biopic also got released on Friday, which was previously disallowed for release by the country’s election commission as it violated election rules, as did the series Modi: Journey of a Common Man, now live on ErosNow’s digital platform.
