It sounds unreal but it is true that a million fans have just signed a petition to remake the much controversial final season of Game Of Thrones.
While many of us leave this job to the directors and scriptwriters of a certain show to make it as they want. However, there are some people who like to take it in their hands.
The lowest rating out of all the episodes in the eight seasons of Game of Thrones is not enough to suppress the appetite for destruction – not unlike a Mad Queen we’re all crying over – demonstrated by some 1 million fans.
A Change.org petition has been set up to hit out at the writers of Game of Thrones, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff, by a disappointed fan.
The Petition reads as follows:
“David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have proven themselves to be woefully incompetent writers when they have no source material (i.e. the books) to fall back on.
This series deserves a final season that makes sense. Subvert my expectations and make it happen, HBO!”
Apparently, a million people agree with this. The cast, however, and other TV celebrities, do not agree. While some of the Game of Thrones cast expressed some concern of their character arcs, they have not gone so far as to condemn the writers. Jacob Anderson, aka Grey Worm, actually thinks the petition is really rude.
