Federal Board of Revenue has further extended the date of filing of Income Tax Returns for the Tax Year 2018 till 30th of April 2019.
FBR has taken this decision considering the numerous representations by various trade bodies and organizations along with other taxpayers looking for an extension in the date of filing of returns for Tax Year 2018.
All persons, who haven’t submitted the returns, have been urged to take advantage of this opportunity.
FBR has plans to pursue and legally proceed against those persons who are required to file returns but do not file it by this extended date (30 April 2019).
FBR has crossed the mark of 18,00,000 Income Tax filers for the Tax year 2018 for the very first time in its history.
